I was a CPA/auditor for a large public accounting firm upon graduation from college in 2001. After one year I changed career paths and served as a foreign missionary for over 15 years (during which my CPA license was allowed to expire). Since returning stateside in late 2020, I have worked full time for a non-profit that provides residential care to young men aged 12 to 18 years, which involves assisting the executive director in various financial tasks. This experience has reignited my passion for accounting and so I am seeking to start a freelance business where I can utilize these skills once again. You will find me to be intelligent, well presented, articulate, detail-oriented, and a quick learner. My current full time position involves assisting our executive director with financial tasks including QBO monitoring and quarterly financial reports to the board. I recently passed the Intuit Bookkeeping exam and became an Advanced QuickbooksPro Advisor. I am also Gusto Payroll Certified.
