Herman is a NYS Certified Public Accountant. Herman graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in Accounting. Since the beginning of his career in 2006 he has worked with individuals and organization on getting the job done. Herman understands communication and documentation are keys to getting projects completed. He has extensive experience in auditing, accounting, tax, consulting, and forensic accounting engagements.
Herman is committed to the success of clients and views each engagement as uniquely important. Rather than impose cookie-cutter solutions, he listens to clients and responds to needs, thereby developing effective plans that address both current priorities and future goals.
Prior to launching his own firm in 2013, Herman worked at two previous CPA firms. At Grassi and Company, Herman started as a junior and worked his way up to senior auditor in charge of several auditing engagements of construction companies and not for profit organizations.
At Todres and Company, Herman started as a senior accountant and moved his way up to supervisor. Herman was in charge of financial statement audits of not for profit and for profit entities, tax returns, and agreed upon procedures engagements.
Herman is also a certified acceptance agent with the IRS and QuickBooks online Certified Proadvisor. Herman on average takes over 24 continuing professional education credits a year.
