I'm married, a mother of 5, and a grandmother of 13.

I have a bachelor's degree in accounting. I'm currently working on a master's of professional accountancy (MPAC) and plan to graduate in December 2025. I started my career late (at 52) because I chose to home-school my children. I started college after my last child graduated from high school. I chose to do the traditional face-to-face classes at Mississippi Delta Community College and Delta State University. I received my bachelor's degree with a 3.9 GPA. I'm also recognized in the Mississippi Society of CPA's September 2022 monthly magazine and received several scholarships. I participate in the Annual Filing Season Program through the IRS and I'm listed on the IRS tax preparer directory.
